Hello, my name is Anny, I am an interdisciplinary creative based in Scotland, originally from Germany.
I studied Drama at Queen Margaret University and graduated with a first class honours degree in July 2024.
I enjoy writing, directing and performing while also pursuing a career in music: “Singer-songwriter, director, artist” are the ways in which I attempt to categorise my work. First and foremost I consider myself a writer. (So it should really be “writer-song-singer”).
I am passionate about stories that bridge the gap.
The gap between opposing perspectives; contemporary, cutting-edge and sparking honest conversations with an audience.
I care about facilitating spaces in which these conversations can take place.
This could be through music, online, a play, or a facilitated group environment.
At the risk of sounding pretentious my mission statement is as follows: Through my art I want to equip others to be courageous, vulnerable and authentic to evoke healing change.
